Frequently asked questions

Where do you do your shoots?

I conduct our South Australian shoots? where ever you will be the most comfortable. At home, on your or a friends property, at your favourite park, as long as it’s well lit, we make it work where ever we go. You will no longer be tied to just a few options, the possibilities are endless. I have a large list of places I frequent that are free to use and are beautiful, so if you are finding it hard to find somewhere don’t worry I will sort it. I also have access to an exclusive location that no one else can use, but that does come at an added cost…however I’d love to share it with you and discuss this option.

Do you have a studio?

No, not as yet, I might in the future. How ever, my passion is natural light photography, it allows me to be really creative and create uniquely you images.

How long have you been a photographer?

I started professionally working as a photographer in Adelaide in 2010, so a LONG time. I have grown my skill over that time and am one of very few photographers in South Australia with that kind of experience.

How will we know our images will be delivered to a professional standard?

Not only do I have the experience that only 12 years in the industry can provide, but I hold a very high standard of my work, you can be sure, your images will not leave my office unless they meet my stringent quality control standards. We also use a professional, full-frame camera and the best quality lenses and computer software, to meet professional industry and printing standards.

Do you edit all of the images?

When you receive your full gallery for viewing online, they are all edited and professionally finished, what you see you will get. You will not be given any unedited images, as that goes against our business policies and conduct. I hold a very, very high standard for my work and you should not expect anything less.

What should I wear?

I am not about to tell you what to wear, and my core business values, don’t align with encouraging my clients to go out and buy new clothes. So my suggestions are try not to wear clashing colours or patterns, and try to have one similar element in everyone’s outfits (think - colour, pattern, texture, fabric type i.e. Denim). I can make any colour palette work with my style, after all my style is, Relaxed, Candid, timeless and Real.

How do I get my photos once they are ready?

We will notify you by email when they are ready, we are yet to find an ethical and sustainably sourced for USB’s so we are not currently offering that option. So you will be able to digitally download your images online, and we also have the means to burn them to a DVD disc.

Will my photo’s come with a watermark?

Absolutely not, however, if you share the photo’s whilst it isn’t a legal requirement to credit the photographer, it is common courtesy to do so and I will love you a long time if you do.

Do you travel outside of the Barossa?

Yes, I do, if there is a need to travel further than a 20km radius of Nuriootpa, I charge a per KM amount.

How can you be sure everyone will cooperate at the shoot?

Well, I cannot 100% guarantee they will. Being a mum of three myself, I know kids are often the hardest to get to cooperate but sometimes adults can be too, however, I will do my darnedest; including and not limited to making fart sounds, acting like a noob and standing upside down, jokes, ain’t nobody inverting this body. Don’t forget sometimes the best images are taken when you least expect them, I will always make it work, just relax and be you and the rest will come.

What happens if I lose my photo’s?

Although I hope that never happens, I know sometimes things just can’t be helped! I save, double save and triple save ALL of my clients galleries, so if ever I needed them again they are there. I have a portable external storage system, an inline storage system and a cloud-based storage system service we use, so we can be 99% sure that our images will always be able to you should you need them after a loss in the future.
